This beautiful hand-made item, was crafted by a team of glass artists in a Fair Trade cooperative in Ecuador. It is made from recycled glass, fused into a work of art. Fusing glass is an art form that involves melting different colored glass together to form a three dimensional design that is all one piece. Small pieces of colored glass are laid in a pattern onto the base piece of glass and then melted together in a kiln at 1500 degrees.
Since each piece is made individually there may be some minor differences.
