Chokin Art Plate with Peacock Design

6-1/4" Metal engravings from Japan are created from the ancient art of Chokin. Gilded with gold and silver the engravings were originally created to decorate the ornament of the Samurai Warriors. This plate is decorated with 24 kt gold. Mint condition but I do not have the original box.
